Since its establishment in 2013, Brunei Fertilizers Industry, BFI Sendirian Berhad has evolved into one of Southeast Asia's leading players and continue to play and integral role in supporting global food security, advancing sustainability and promoting economic diversification in line with Wawasan 2035. The Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy stated the matter at the launching of the BFI safety park at Sungai Liang Industrial Park, SPARK Centre.

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah added the launch of the safety park come at a fitting time as BFI had recently achieved a milestone of over 4 million lost time incident free working hours and passed the IFA protect and sustain certification audit. The safety park is Southeast Asia's first in-house safety training facility aimed at strengthening the company's safety culture, enhancing competency standards and reinforcing commitment to operational excellence.
